Content must be delivered in DCP format as standard, with delivery required 72 hours prior to your technical rehearsal. If you have content in another format, conversion costs £500 + VAT for anything exceeding 20 minutes in length. Content for conversion must be provided in ProRes or MP4 format.

The hire cost includes use of the screen and projector, up to 3 handheld microphones, technical support, and a 30-minute technical rehearsal at 10:30am prior to your event day. The cost also covers most films whether new releases or classics, though some films may be unavailable or come at higher cost.

There are additional fees charged for late content delivery (less than 72 hours before technical rehearsal) and for missed technical rehearsals. Specific amounts for these penalty fees are not disclosed upfront but are applied when violations occur.

Yes, Curzon can source films for private screenings including new releases and classic titles. Film availability must be checked with distributors once a venue and date are confirmed, as some films are unavailable for private screening or come at higher licensing costs.

The ground floor bar costs £300 + VAT per hour for exclusive use for up to 150 people standing. If you don't hire the bar exclusively, it remains open to the public during your event. The bar hire is separate from screen hire costs.

Food and drink orders must be placed 2 weeks ahead of your event to ensure staffing and stock availability - orders cannot be guaranteed after this deadline. They recommend budgeting £6 per person per drink for house wine, prosecco, beers and soft drinks on a tab system, with cocktails and premium drinks requiring pre-orders.

Curzon Bloomsbury is currently taking bookings from 1st August 2025 onwards only. Some smaller 28-30 seat screens at Bloomsbury are not currently set up for private hires, with only the larger screens available for booking.

After providing contract details, Curzon sends the contract via DocuSign to the signatory. Once countersigned, full payment is invoiced ahead of the event. A coordination questionnaire must be returned by a specified deadline (typically 2-3 weeks before) to arrange staffing and confirm food/drink orders.

Yes, there are different pricing structures with weekend slots being peak pricing and weekday slots being off-peak pricing. The £2,313 + VAT rate quoted applies to off-peak Monday slots, with weekend rates being higher though specific weekend pricing is not disclosed.
