The HAC does not host Christmas parties for groups under 80 people. This minimum applies specifically to Christmas events and may not apply to other types of dining events throughout the year.

The venue experiences high volumes of inquiries and works to respond as quickly as possible. Based on availability patterns shown, popular dates book up well in advance, so early booking is recommended. If your requested date is unavailable, the sales team will offer alternative dates if you have flexibility. They may also help find alternative venues through their network if no suitable dates are available at The HAC.

Venue hire varies by space and event type. Examples include: Long Room hire at £4,500 + VAT with £3,500 + VAT minimum catering spend, and Bronze DDR Package at £160 + VAT per person with 164 delegate minimum. Specific pricing depends on your requirements and chosen space.

The venue may not be suitable for very limited budgets. They have declined events with budgets of £1,000-£2,000, indicating higher minimum spend requirements. It's best to discuss your budget upfront to ensure the venue can accommodate your event within your financial parameters.

Available spaces include the Long Room, Prince Consort Rooms (maximum 700 standing, 400 theatre-style for ceremonies), Queen's Room, and Ante Room. The Prince Consort Rooms can accommodate up to 300 guests for drinks receptions, while other spaces have varying capacities depending on setup requirements.

Catering is provided by Searcys with various package options available. Minimum catering spends vary by space - for example, the Long Room requires a £3,500 + VAT minimum spend. Three-course menus, working lunches, and various dining packages are available, with specific menus provided upon inquiry.

Standard venue hire typically runs from 08:00 until 17:00 for day events, or 18:00-00:00 for evening events. The venue is licensed until 3 PM on Sundays, though extensions may be possible through Islington Council. All guests must vacate by midnight, with suppliers having maximum 90 minutes for breakdown.

Due to noise protocols, drinks receptions cannot be hosted outside after 9:00 PM or sunset, whichever is earlier. Outdoor terrace access is weather dependent, and the venue's six-acre Artillery Garden is available for events when weather permits.

Standard AV packages are available through KSS Audio, including basic sound systems, projectors, and screens. The Bronze DDR Package includes a Standard AV Package, and additional technical requirements can be accommodated with advance notice and additional costs.
