This includes main meeting room hire, arrival tea/coffee with pastries, mid-morning tea/coffee with cookies, afternoon tea/coffee with cake, 2-course buffet lunch, projector and screen, flipchart with markers, pads/pens/paper, Wi-Fi, signage, dedicated event planner, and dedicated event manager on the day.
What are the capacity limits for the Milton Suite?
The Milton Suite accommodates up to 200 delegates in theatre layout and 120 delegates in cabaret layout. The space can be split into smaller rooms (Lawrence, Fleming and Turner suites) using optional wall partitions for smaller events.
What are the mandatory AV equipment costs beyond the included projector and screen?
Additional AV costs include: PA system at £245.00, microphones at £66.00 each, lectern at £64.00, stage blocks at £54.00 per block, AV technician at £550.00 (maximum 8 hours, mandatory for 2 or more microphones), and External AV Supplier Fee at £750.00 per day.
How does the booking hold system work?
Bookings are held on 'Joint 1st option', meaning multiple clients can hold the same space on the same day. The first client to confirm and return the contract within three working days gets exclusive use of the space.
What are the standard event hours and additional time charges?
Standard hire is maximum 8 hours, normally from 09:00 to 17:00, with all rates inclusive of VAT. Hourly supplements and overnight hold charges apply for additional time beyond the standard 8-hour period.
What catering spaces are available and where is lunch served?
Refreshments are served in Refreshment Area 1 just outside the meeting room. The 2-course buffet lunch included in the Day Delegate Rate is served in Leo's Restaurant, with working lunch options available in the refreshment space upon request.
Are there accessibility limitations for the Milton Suite?
The Milton Suite is not fully accessible and has no natural daylight. However, it does have air conditioning and is located on Lower Ground Floor 1.
What exhibition space options are available and at what cost?
Exhibition spaces are available including Churchill Suite at £1,500.00 inc. VAT (reduced from £1,900.00) and Pepys Suite which has the same features and rate as Churchill. These can accommodate up to 3 exhibition stands maximum.
What are the minimum spend requirements for drinks receptions?
For drinks receptions, there are minimum spend requirements ranging from £3,000.00 to £10,000.00 inclusive of VAT depending on the space and guest count, with 50% required to be spent on food.
What smaller meeting rooms are available as breakout spaces?
Smaller rooms include Blackfriars Suite (maximum 6 boardroom at £350.00 per day, reduced from £480.00), Nightingale Room (maximum 8 boardroom at £600.00), and Reynolds Room (maximum 12 boardroom at £800.00). Leo's Balcony is available for up to 100 people with £4,000.00 minimum spend on food and beverage.
