What is the maximum capacity for JOIA Rooftop and what are the pricing options?

JOIA Rooftop can accommodate a maximum of 450 guests. The venue operates on a minimum spend basis rather than room hire fees, with minimum spends ranging from £12,500+VAT for smaller events to £25,000+VAT for full exclusive hire of the rooftop space. All minimum spends are subject to an additional 12.5-15% service charge.

What are the standard operating hours and can events run later?

Standard daytime events typically run from 9am-5pm, while evening events can extend until late. Extensions beyond standard hours may incur additional charges and are subject to availability. The venue appears to have flexibility for late licenses based on event requirements.

What catering options are available and are there any restrictions?

Food can be served from JOIA Restaurant on a smaller menu, with options including canapés, bowl food, and sharing concept menus from Tozi restaurant. All food and beverage must be purchased through the venue to meet minimum spend requirements. External catering is not permitted.

What AV equipment and entertainment facilities are included?

The venue includes basic AV capabilities, but DJ services must be quoted and booked separately through the venue's entertainment team. The space can accommodate DJs and live music, with additional screens available for rolling content display at extra cost.

Is the rooftop space available year-round and what happens in bad weather?

The rooftop operates year-round, though specific weather contingency plans are not detailed in available information. Given it's an outdoor rooftop space with a pool, events may be weather-dependent and clients should discuss backup options during booking.

What is the booking process and payment timeline?

Initial enquiries require details about event type, guest count, preferred dates, budget, and specific requirements. The venue can place events on provisional hold while finalizing details. Specific deposit amounts and payment schedules are determined during the booking process.

Are there any restrictions on decorations, music volume, or event activities?

The venue offers flexibility around music, drinks, and light production for events. Specific restrictions on decorations, music volume limits, or prohibited activities are not detailed in available information and should be confirmed during booking discussions.

What additional services and amenities are included with the space?

The rooftop features an iconic pool, signature cocktails, views over Battersea Power Station, and WiFi access. The venue can arrange additional services like photography setups, 360 booths, and specialized lighting, though these may incur separate charges.

How far in advance should I book and what are the cancellation policies?

Booking timelines vary by season and event size, with popular dates requiring advance notice. The venue handles enquiries on a first-come basis and can advise on availability. Specific cancellation policies and terms are established during the contracting process.

What are the transportation and accessibility options for guests?

The venue is located 2 minutes walk from Battersea Power Station Zone 1 underground station on the Northern Line, 10 minutes from Vauxhall Station, and 2 minutes from Battersea Pier for Thames riverboat services. Specific accessibility accommodations for disabled guests should be confirmed during booking.
