The Benchers' Library

The Honourable Society of Gray's Inn

Intimate 30-person event space with kitchenette and AV, ideal for private meals or small parties.

For up to 30 people, you can hire one of our smaller rooms to celebrate a birthday, connect with colleagues new and old, or test out your new private dining offering.

Each room comes with chairs and tables, a 65" TV screen and full accessibility.

The Fleet Room is a blank canvas, while the Luciana Room and Saint Rooms provide a warm, stylish setting for dining and smaller meetings. All with natural light and sonic booming to take the edge of the buzz in the room from all the happy chatter.

All the smaller rooms are the same price, so why not book a visit to see what you would prefer?

Located within The Residence at Holmes Hotel London, The Conservatory features a large open skylight to the private courtyard above. Flooded with natural daylight in the day, and cosy in the evening, this space is suitable for a range of private dining events for up to 10 guests. 

Catering is provided by our award-winning restaurant, Kitchen at Holmes, with a range of menus and options to from, including cocktail masterclasses. 

For those who don't want the evening to end, head to our stylish bedrooms upstairs for the night.

A versatile reception or breakout space in a historic venue, ideal for drinks, canapés, or small dining.

The Charter Gallery is the perfect space for a drinks or canape reception prior to or at the end of your event. It can also be used as a breakout space for coffee and refreshments during all-day events. Use of the Charter Gallery is included in the hire of either of our main function rooms, subject to  availability. Alternatively it can be hired on its own as an independent reception space or small private dining area.

The light coloured walls and high ceilings in the Medal Room create the perfect setting in which the fabulous display of military medals can take centre stage. 

Situated on the first floor of Armoury House at the top of the staircase, the Medal Room is perfect for private dining as it provides an intimate dining experience surrounded by a moving collection of medals awarded to members of the HAC.

Elegant oak-paneled room in a Grade II listed venue, ideal for receptions and dinners.

Located on the ground floor of this award-winning Grade II listing venue, the Council room is fully accessible. Guests will be amazed by the rich, dark oak panelling and the ceilings adorned by beautifully embellished plaster and lit by a large chandelier. The soft furnishing including recently-added curtains and carpets are well-appointed in reds, greens and golds which create a warm and luxurious feel.
The Council room is connected to the Brunel room which allow flexibility in how the space is used, should you want to welcome your guests with a drinks reception before dinner.
