The Arena can host up to 450 guests for standing events and parties. For seated meetings or conferences, the space can accommodate 60 guests with breakout areas. The venue also offers half-arena hire options for smaller groups with roped-off exclusive areas.
What games and entertainment are included in The Arena hire?
The Arena includes 5 championship-sized ping pong tables, 2 pool tables, 2 darts oches, and 11 HD TV screens for live sport. Games usage across the building costs an additional £1,500 for the duration of events. A Games Master can be added to ensure everyone participates in tournaments and activities.
What are the age restrictions for events at Bat & Ball?
Bat & Ball operates under a strict license with no under-18s allowed in the venue past 8pm. This applies to all events including private hires, so any events extending beyond 8pm must be adults-only.
What are the booking and payment terms?
Booking requires a signed event contract and 50% deposit upfront, with the remaining balance due 2 weeks prior to the event date. Cancellations require 4 weeks written notice for a refund - cancellations after this time result in deposit forfeiture, and non-attendance means deposits are not refundable.
What food and beverage packages are available?
The venue offers various packages starting from £35 per person, including festive packages at £60 per person with drinks, sliders, skewers, pizza, and desserts. All packages include service charge at 12.5% and rates are inclusive of VAT. Custom food and drink packages can be arranged to meet minimum spend requirements.

The Arena includes 11 HD TV screens and 4 additional screens for presentations or live sport. AV support for bands, awards ceremonies, or presentations costs £500, including stage, microphone, and screen setup. The venue can accommodate DJ setups and has facilities for live entertainment.
