Frequently asked questions

Venue hire starts from £8,500 + VAT for exclusive access up to 15 hours. This includes use of the state-of-the-art PA and lighting facilities, staging, DJ equipment, and photobooth. Some quotes show venue hire at £10,000-£15,000 + VAT depending on the event requirements and duration.

Event staffing and security costs £4,000-£5,000 + VAT and are mandatory for all events. Sound and lighting packages range from £1,500-£4,500 + VAT depending on requirements. Pre and post-event cleaning is £500-£600 + VAT, and chair hire with delivery costs £1,000-£1,500 + VAT if needed.

The venue can accommodate 100 guests for presentation-style seating in front of the stage with plenty of standing room remaining. For seated events, up to 220 guests can be accommodated in the main area. The venue has over 450 square metres of internal space and is suitable for standing receptions up to 500+ guests.

Bowl food packages cost £30.80-£33 + VAT per person (minimum 200 guests) and include 5 bowls (hot and cold) plus 1 sweet bowl. Hot DDR Catering offers full-day packages at £75 + VAT per person including breakfast, snacks, lunch, drinks, and barista service. The venue works with preferred caterers including Cater London, Wolf & Lamb, Dinner Ladies, and KERB Events.

Unlimited drinks packages start at £10 + VAT per person per hour for house beer, wine, and soft drinks, going up to £22 + VAT per person for 2-hour packages. If you have drinks sponsors, a corkage fee per person applies, or a 'bar buy-out' fee if supplying all drinks throughout the event.

Basic PA and lighting are included in venue hire. Large screen/projector with video technician costs £2,000-£4,500 + VAT extra. DJ service for 4 hours costs £660 + VAT. The venue has full staging facilities, state-of-the-art sound systems, lighting rigs, and DJ equipment as standard.

The venue does not book public/ticketed music events or any public events through online platforms like Hirespace - these must go directly through their programming team. Aerial performers can be accommodated (attached to lighting truss). Friday availability is limited as they normally have evening music events, but daytime events may be possible.

For events within 1-2 weeks, bookings must be confirmed immediately as staff availability needs to be secured. Dates are held on 'first option' or 'second option' basis. Saturdays typically have no availability, but Sundays may be available at their other venue EartH Hackney.

Chair hire with delivery costs £1,000-£1,500 + VAT for 100-150 chairs. Poseur tables cost £380 + VAT for 12 tables, bar stools cost £518 + VAT for 24 stools, with furniture delivery and collection at £432 + VAT. The venue can accommodate both seated presentations and standing receptions with flexible layouts.

For large events (500+ guests), total costs typically start around £20,000 + VAT during busy periods like Christmas. Events under certain budget thresholds may be directed to their sister venue EartH Hackney where there's more flexibility on costs. Minimum spend and staffing costs vary depending on hours of hire and number of attendees.
