West Hall Level 1 is the smaller of our spaces, with minimal roof support pillars providing the perfect blank canvas for your event.

From exhibitions to banquets, we have managed and hosted many high-impact events in this space. This flexible venue has its own entrance and reception and boasts stunning natural light through its floor-to-ceiling character windows.

The hall has a dedicated entrance just a few hundred metres from Kensington Olympia station and can be directly connected to The Grand's gallery floor.




Frequently asked questions

West Hall Level 1 offers 3,265 square meters of flexible space with minimal roof support pillars. The venue requires a minimum commitment of 75% usage, providing at least 2,500 square meters of usable space for events.

Daily hire rates start at £45,000 plus VAT per day for West Hall Level 1. For premium spaces like The Grand Hall, rates are significantly higher at approximately £45,000 plus VAT per day for the National Hall.

West Hall Level 1 is offered as a dry hire space, meaning the venue provides the empty hall only. You must arrange and budget separately for all furniture, production, audio-visual equipment, staging, lighting, and any other event requirements.

Olympia requires sufficient lead time for event planning and cannot accommodate very short-notice bookings. Enquiries made with insufficient lead time will be declined, so advance planning is essential for securing dates.

The Grand Hall, Olympia's premium space, can accommodate up to 7,000 people and provides ample space for organisers to build staging and plenary setups. This makes it suitable for large-scale conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events.

Olympia is located on Hammersmith Road, Kensington, London W14 8UX. West Hall Level 1 has a dedicated entrance just a few hundred meters from Kensington Olympia station, providing excellent public transport access.

The space features floor-to-ceiling character windows along a curved wall that provide stunning natural daylight. It has its own dedicated entrance and reception area, and can be directly connected to The Grand Hall's gallery floor if needed.

Initial enquiries are reviewed by the Olympia Commercial Team who will respond in due course. For specific requirements and availability, you'll work with an Exhibitions Account Manager who will provide detailed quotes and coordinate your event needs.

As a dry hire venue, you must budget for additional security/stewarding, AV/production equipment, exhibition booth building and graphics, furniture, catering, power supply to exhibition areas, rigging, and draping. These costs are separate from the base venue hire fee.

The space is ideal for exhibitions, banquets, conferences, trade shows, fashion shows, tech events, and consumer events. The minimal roof support pillars and flexible layout make it a perfect blank canvas for various event formats and productions.
