Mahogany bookshelves form the backdrop of this traditional library setting which houses the Swedenborg Collection of the Society's museum artefacts.

The Wynter Room benefits from ample natural light and features a vintage leather embossed top boardroom table at the centre. This space is an ideal option for smaller shoots including talking heads footage and filming interviews.




Frequently asked questions

All exhibitions and events must be connected to Emanuel Swedenborg in terms of themes and his life. Projects that don't meet this thematic requirement will not be accepted for collaboration or booking.

The David Wynter Room accommodates up to 25 people in a boardroom layout. This traditional library setting features mahogany bookshelves, vintage leather embossed boardroom table, and early 20th century interiors ideal for talking heads footage and interview filming.

Swedenborg Hall offers full blackout capabilities for film screenings, a wireless WUXGA full HD plus projector, 1.98m wide screen wall, and PA system with Wharfdale speakers. The David Wynter Room provides ample natural light and traditional library backdrop with mahogany bookshelves.

The Administrator/Office Manager Denise Prentice is available in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 09:30 to 17:00. Contact should be made during these hours for booking inquiries and to arrange viewing appointments.

Both spaces include complimentary WiFi and on-site concierge support. Swedenborg Hall also features a Boston Steinway upright piano available for hire, oak panelling, pine flooring, and antique wooden chairs.

Swedenborg Hall accommodates up to 100 people in lecture layout, while the David Wynter Room has a capacity of 25 people in boardroom layout. There appears to be some confusion on booking platforms about these capacities.

The venues are located within a Grade II listed building in the heart of Bloomsbury. The spaces feature neoclassical surroundings, traditional early 20th century interiors, and period architectural details including oak panelling.
