The Ballroom is perfect for Receptions, Private Dining, Exhibitions, Gala events and Parties. This impressive space boasts Grade II listed Victorian features, with one of the most sumptuous ceilings in London.



Frequently asked questions

The venue offers two private dining packages: £99.00 per person for minimum 35 people (includes private room hire, arrival drink, 3-course set menu with tea/coffee, half bottle wine per person, half bottle water per person, dedicated event planner, VAT and service charge) or £105.00 per person with maximum 2-2-2 menu choices for the whole group. Additional drinks are charged on consumption basis.

The Canterbury Suite accommodates maximum 50 people in banqueting style with 65.33 sqm area on the 1st floor. The Ballroom Suite holds up to 120 banqueting style (10 rounds of 12) or 170 theatre style with 174.24 sqm area, also on 1st floor. Both spaces feature natural daylight, AC/heating, disabled access, and WiFi.

Provisional bookings are typically held for 1 week on either 1st option or shared option basis. Decision deadlines are strictly enforced - spaces are automatically released if not confirmed by the specified time (often by 5pm or 2pm on the deadline day). Final event details must be submitted by noon on the Friday before your event.

Christmas packages are £115.00 per person for minimum 50 people, including private room hire, arrival drink, 3-course festive set menu with tea/coffee and mince pies, half bottle wine per person, half bottle water per person, Christmas tree, dance floor, Christmas novelties and crackers, dedicated event planner, VAT and service charge, plus 6ft x 8ft LCD screen and projector.

Cancellation charges are: 52-12 weeks prior: 30% of function charges; 12-8 weeks prior: 50% of charges; 8-4 weeks prior: 80% of charges; 4 weeks or less: 100% of charges. These apply to all event bookings once contracted.

Additional costs include: PA system with 2 wireless microphones £250.00 inc VAT (Ballroom only), printing at £0.75 per page double-sided colour A4, minimum drinks spend recommendations of £500-600 inc VAT for cocktail receptions. Name tag printing and coffee machine services may be available at additional cost.

Events typically run 6pm-11pm for dinners or 6:30pm-11:30pm for Christmas events. Some flexibility exists but timing changes after booking may require requoting and are subject to availability. Setup requirements and access times need to be arranged in advance with the events team.
