For larger groups, The Gallery can accommodate up to 37 in cabaret layout or 60 standing, and boardroom/U-shape layouts can seat 18 guests comfortably with the possibility of adding 2 more (though this may feel tight).

The private dining package costs £100.00 plus VAT per person and includes simple stylish decoration, 1 glass of prosecco on arrival, 3-course dinner (£65.00 set menu), half a bottle of mineral water, half a bottle of house wine, room hire, and cloakroom. A discretionary service charge of 12.5% is added to the final bill.

Minimum spend requirements vary by space and event type. For The Gallery drinks reception, the minimum spend is £2,250.00 plus VAT (reduced from £3,500) plus 12.5% service charge. For other dining events, minimum spends of £2,700 including VAT and £4,000 plus VAT have been quoted depending on the specific requirements.

A 50% deposit is required to secure the space. Final details including guest numbers and dietary requirements must be provided 10 days before the event date.

Yes, multiple layouts are available including boardroom style (up to 18 guests), U-shape (up to 20 guests), cabaret style with round tables, and long table arrangements. However, for groups of 25 or more, the venue cannot accommodate everyone at one single table due to capacity constraints.

Three reception packages are available: Bronze at £47.00 plus VAT (1 prosecco, 2 drinks, 3 canapés), Silver at £62.00 plus VAT (1 prosecco, 3 drinks, 6 canapés), and Gold at £82.00 plus VAT (1 champagne, 3 drinks, 3 canapés plus 3 bowl foods). All packages include staff, room hire, cloakroom, plasma screen, and WiFi.

Holmes Hotel does not host 18th birthday parties at the venue. The hotel appears to focus on corporate events, private dining, engagement parties, and other adult celebrations rather than youth-oriented events.

Corkage charges are £30.00 per bottle if you wish to bring your own wine or champagne to the event.
