Boasting a full capacity of up to 250 guests, The Escapologist is made up of 3 parts. Enter through a secret doorway and you will find yourself transported to the modern-day masonic world that is our Grand Hall. Continue through to our main bar area which has a full-length bar that stretches the length of the room. Finally, situated on the far side of the venue & down a few steps you will enter our lavish underground Vault with beautiful royal blue booths against a back drop of luxurious gold.

The Bar Lounge has floor to ceiling glass doors that retract in warmer temperatures.

The Bar Lounge 

Chotto Matte 

A 1920s Shanghai themed cocktail bar with a unique Apothecary Bar suitable for private hires and drinks receptions.

The Apothecary bar is located on the second floor at Opium and can accommodate up to 30-40 guests seated or standing. The room is elongated in shape and the main Apothecary bar adorned with medicinal bottles (you won't have to learn Cantonese, we promise!), splits the bar between two areas. To the far left we have an area with higher, stool type seating and to the right we have "Tea parlour" section which has lower, more dining style tables and chairs. The bar is available for private hires and drinks reception. Exclusive hire of the bar includes full waiting staff/bartenders.

Our Party Bar is located just off of the main bar, and just steps away from the Dancefloor where our live band will be on stage, along with singing waiters, performing your song requests all night. 

The area can be curtained or roped off, depending how private you would like it to be. 

It boosts it's own private bar, and can hold 40 seated, and up to 80 people standing. 

Available for private hire for any type of event.
