ORTUS Events

A large, versatile venue with a grand stage for live events and corporate functions, accommodating up to 1700.

The main room boasts a theatrical structure which makes the space both characterful and contemporary. The huge ground floor space and stage is overlooked by a beautiful mezzanine. The space is ideal for live shows of up to 1500 people capacity and standing receptions of 1700. 

It is an excellent setting for product launches and corporate parties. The main room can accommodate 200 guests seated cabaret style for an awards dinner or gala evening.

Studio Z spans two interlinked spaces. The first is an exposed brick high ceiling 50ft x 25ft space with a capacity for 160 standing guests and 90 seated guests.

This space is a popular option for those wishing to host a wide range of corporate and private events from company receptions & conferences, product launches, exhibitions, film screenings, press events and workshops to wedding receptions, private dining, supper clubs and birthdays.

The second unit comprises a fully equipped professional kitchen, perfect for catering your next event. This space leads onto a private outdoor terrace.

San Mei Gallery can accommodate a range of business events from training days, small conferences, board meetings, day and evening networking events and various kinds of workshop formats. 

We can accommodate up to 50 standing and can provide two tables and 20 chairs with additional furniture hired at extra cost. San Mei is equipped with AV equipment, a projector and wifi. Lunch spreads, nibbles, teas, coffees and cakes can be ordered through our in house caterers, Annapurna Cafe.

Ideally located next to East Dulwich Railway Station, and also well served by bus routes, the library was newly opened in December 2018. The modern, well presented meeting room has Wi-Fi, an integrated screen for presentations, and is an ideal space for meetings, lectures, workshops or training sessions.

£19.20 per hour concessionary rate for not for profit community groups or charities; £38.50 per hour regular rate.

A charming Victorian studio in Brixton, ideal for meetings, events, and pop-up gatherings.

The large long studio is furnished but has ample room for displaying objects for sale. It has a toilet and smaller sitting room attached. There are many walls for hanging art work and cabinets for storing objects. There are also ample tables and chairs for pop up supper clubs and discussion nights. Great for meetings, seminars, soirees, salons, conferences and kitchen available. Can seat 20 people dining at a long table or 50-60 people standing.
There is also a connected large kitchen sitting room that can be included with room for another 30 people standing. A garden available for smoking.
