Space description

Named after one of the five recognised ways towards achieving mental wellbeing. Connect is the largest event space, perfect for connecting with larger audiences thanks to fantastic AV including Apple TV, blu-ray, dual high def Canon projectors and cordless mics. Lecture capture system enables streaming live audio and video of presentations. Ideal for events, presentations, lectures, talks, receptions and more. Connect can be hired as one larger room or through the use of acoustically sealed partitions, it can be divided into two smaller rooms.

ORTUS is a conference, meetings and events venue, which is high-tech, award winning and eco-friendly. ORTUS was purpose built by the Maudsley Charity, in order to create an all-inclusive, welcoming space for training , meetings and events for the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Profits from ORTUS go back into the Trust. The Venue is now open to everyone and regularly used by the public sector, for corporate and private events, and can accommodate small or large events such as meetings, workshops, conferences, lectures, receptions, private dining, product launches and more.
