The Mail Rail event space is ideal for parties due to its unique and immersive setting in the historic underground tunnels of London’s postal system. Mail Rail costs £5,500-£9,750 + VAT for evening receptions (17:00-23:00) or £6,000-£20,000 + VAT for daytime events, depending on day of week. The Postal Museum and Courtyard costs £3,000-£8,250 + VAT for evening events (14:00/17:00-23:00). Learning Space A costs £600 + VAT per day. Extended hours cost £500 + VAT per hour for all spaces.

Mail Rail accommodates up to 275 standing reception, 200 seated theatre style, or 150 seated dinner. The Postal Museum and Courtyard holds up to 120 standing reception. Learning Space A fits 40 seated cabaret or 60 theatre style.

The Mail Rail train costs £1,500-£2,400 + VAT for a 3-hour slot with trains departing every 10 minutes. Each train accommodates up to 20 guests for a 15-minute journey through the historic mail tunnels.

Evening events typically run 17:00/18:00-23:00 with setup access from 14:00/17:00. Daytime events run 09:00-17:00 with setup from 08:00. Guest departure is at 23:00 for evening events unless extended hours are purchased.

Yes, all catering, production, floristry, entertainment and other services must be provided by accredited suppliers only. The venue provides supplier lists and can offer guidance on selection and make initial enquiries on your behalf.

A 50% deposit is required upon booking with the remaining 50% due 60 days before the event. Clients must complete a booking form to secure their date.

Viewings are offered Tuesday-Friday between 9am-5pm, and Mondays subject to availability. Site visits can be arranged with the events team to see the spaces and discuss event requirements.

Monday events (when the Museum is closed) cost £5,500-£6,000 + VAT for Mail Rail. Tuesday-Sunday events require a museum buyout at £20,000 + VAT due to lost ticket sales and cafe revenue.

Learning Space A includes a projector with audio and a lectern. The space is functional with additional room for catering and can accommodate boardroom or classroom table setups.

The space features a stunning living wall, authentic red telephone box, and iconic red post boxes in the outdoor courtyard. It combines indoor museum space with outdoor courtyard area, offering flexible indoor/outdoor event options with full branding opportunities.
