Can I use my own suppliers for catering and services?
No, all catering, production, floristry, entertainment and other services must be provided by The Postal Museum's accredited suppliers only. The venue provides a list of approved suppliers and offers guidance on supplier selection and can make initial enquiries on your behalf.

To secure a booking, you must complete a booking form and pay a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is payable 60 days before the event. The venue can put dates on hold while you make your decision.

Viewings are offered Tuesday-Friday between 9am-5pm and Monday subject to availability. You meet in The Postal Museum Welcome Space and can arrange to see the spaces and discuss your event requirements with the team.
What happens if I need the venue during museum opening hours?
If you require Mail Rail during museum opening hours (Tuesday-Sunday), you must pay for a full buyout at £20,000 + VAT as this requires closing the museum to public visitors. This cost is based on lost ticket sales and cafe revenue.
Are there restrictions on event types or activities?
The venue can accommodate various event types including fashion shows, corporate receptions, conferences, product launches, and award ceremonies. Mail Rail can facilitate both boardroom and classroom style table setups, and the space has industrial architectural features with countless branding opportunities.
What AV equipment and facilities are included?
