The Ocean Map is a meeting of classical 19th century grandeur and innovative modern architecture. It is an ideal space for awards & gala dinners or private dining experiences. The flexible event space can provide room for grand staging and large scale performances alongside room for up to 550 for dinner. With our trusted accredited suppliers, guests will have the opportunity to transform their event visually and play with branding opportunities throughout the space. Exclusive hire allows your guests to wander our evocative galleries or enjoy drinks on our lawns overlooking Greenwich Park.




Frequently asked questions

Venue hire rates start from £10,000+VAT and are available Monday through Thursday (inclusive) between 09:00-17:00. This rate includes exclusive hire of the House, basic AV package (PA, mics, free standing screens or projector), dedicated Event Manager, venue staff and security, tables and chairs for the Great Hall and Undercroft, and cleaner.

The Great Hall can accommodate up to 120 guests for seated meals. This iconic cube-shaped room features Italian Bardiglio and Belgian marble floors and is framed by a gallery overlooking the hall. Additional spaces include the Undercroft (three vaulted rooms below the Great Hall) and the Orangery and South Parlours for reception areas.

The dining space is available Monday through Thursday (inclusive) between 09:00-17:00 only. Weekend availability and evening hours beyond 17:00 are not mentioned in the standard hire package.

Catering is not included in the venue hire rate and must be arranged through external suppliers. The venue will provide a quote from their approved catering partners as catering is subject to separate quotation.

Basic AV package is included with the venue hire, consisting of PA system, microphones, and free standing screens or projector. Additional AV requirements beyond the basic package are subject to separate quotation from external suppliers.

Yes, with exclusive hire guests can wander the evocative galleries and enjoy drinks on the lawns overlooking Greenwich Park. The South Lawn & Colonnade offers sweeping views of Greenwich Park for outdoor receptions, and the Orangery and South Parlours have French doors opening onto the lawns with views of Greenwich Park and the Royal Observatory.

The Undercroft features three vaulted rooms below the Great Hall with plush furnishings, ideal for receptions or post-meal dancing and celebrations. The Orangery and South Parlours offer three adjoining rooms perfect for drinks receptions before or after meals, with access to galleries and outdoor lawn areas.

Yes, the flexible event space can provide room for grand staging and large scale performances. The Great Hall's classical Palladian style with high ceilings and gallery overlook makes it suitable for events requiring theatrical elements or presentations.

The venue hire includes dedicated Event Manager, venue staff, security, and cleaner as part of the standard package. This ensures professional support throughout your dining event without additional staffing costs.
