Summer Events at Evolution London

Evolution London offers a 2,841 m² outdoor area with a capacity for over 3,000 standing guests. The outdoor space can accommodate stretch tents, BBQs, fire pits, and festoon lighting. The venue is located within the exclusive surroundings of Grade II* listed Battersea Park.

Venue hire starts at around £35,000 + VAT per day and does not include furniture, catering, or security. Mandatory additional costs include site security at £1,144.80 + VAT per day, event security manager at £371.70 + VAT for 8 hours, event security officers at £274.50 + VAT each for 8 hours (minimum 9 officers for events under 1,000 guests, 1 officer per 100 guests over 1,000), Parks Police coverage, event first aider at £302.10 + VAT for 9.5 hours, and venue cleaning starting at £1,420.20 + VAT for up to 1,500 guests.

The venue can accommodate up to 3,000 standing outdoors, 2,000 for dinner, 4,000 for receptions and parties, 3,500 for theatre layout, and 5,000 for exhibitions. However, the venue cannot accommodate 5,000 guests for certain event types, as confirmed when declining a request for that capacity.

Evolution London does not host concerts, gigs, or live music events unless they are in conjunction with a corporate event, due to premise licensing restrictions. Pure music concerts and standalone live music performances are not permitted at the venue.

Electricity usage is charged at £720 + VAT for 2,000 units on rig/setup days and £1,440 + VAT for 4,000 units per event day. These are mandatory costs that apply to all events and are separate from the base venue hire fee.

All catering is provided in-house by Moving Venue, the venue's exclusive caterer. They produce seasonally inspired, bespoke, fresh menus and handle all catering requirements. External catering is not mentioned as an option in the venue's standard offerings.

Encore is the venue's exclusive in-house AV and production partner, providing all rigging, power, and sound systems. The venue includes a pre-installed, high-spec production package with external LED lighting, architectural LED lighting, color-changeable LED starcloth roof, distributed audio system, and black drape walls. If you bring your own production company, a buy-out fee and commission may apply.

For events less than 4 weeks away, full payment is required within 10 days to fully secure the booking. For events further out, payment terms may vary, but the venue requires confirmation of full details including contact information and company details before sending provisional booking confirmations.

The venue offers exclusive 24-hour hire periods running from 6am to 6am with no load-in/load-out restrictions during the tenancy period. Setup can begin from the evening before your event (typically 5pm-12am), with event days running as needed, and breakdown periods also available in the evening after your event.

The venue provides free car parking and has a dedicated black taxi rank on-site. Evolution London is located at Battersea Park, Queenstown Road, Chelsea Bridge, London SW11 4NJ, making it accessible from central London.
