Summer Events at Evolution London

Venue hire starts at approximately £35,000 + VAT and does not include furniture, catering, or security. For multi-day events, expect £22,000-£25,000 + VAT per day depending on whether it's a build, event, or de-rig day. The venue operates on exclusive 24-hour hire periods from 6am to 6am.

Mandatory costs include site security (£1,144.80 + VAT per day for 24-hour coverage), event security manager (£371.70 + VAT minimum 8 hours), event security officers (minimum 9 officers at £274.50 + VAT each for 8 hours), Parks Police coverage, event first aider (£302.10 + VAT for 9.5 hours), and venue cleaning (£777-£1,823 + VAT depending on guest numbers). Electricity usage costs £720-£1,440 + VAT per day depending on event type.

The venue cannot accommodate more than 5,000 guests total. For parties and receptions, capacity is up to 4,000 guests, theatre-style seating accommodates 3,500, dinner events can host up to 2,000, and exhibitions can accommodate up to 5,000. The outdoor space can handle up to 3,000 guests.

Live music concerts are not permitted at Evolution London due to premise licensing restrictions. The venue only allows music events when they are in conjunction with a corporate event. This restriction applies to all standalone music concerts, gigs, and live music performances.

All catering is provided exclusively by Moving Venue, the venue's in-house caterer. They create seasonally inspired, bespoke fresh menus and handle all food service requirements. External caterers are not permitted, and all catering must go through Moving Venue's services.

Encore is the exclusive in-house AV and production partner providing all rigging, power, and sound systems. Basic in-house AV specification costs £7,500 + VAT per event day and includes LED lighting throughout, distributed audio system, black drape walls, and starcloth roof. External production companies may be subject to buy-out fees and commission, and must work with Encore for all rigging and power requirements.

For events less than 4 weeks away, full payment is required within 10 days to secure the booking. The venue requires confirmation of full name, contact details, company information, and address before sending provisional booking confirmation. Payment timelines may vary for events booked further in advance.

Evolution London provides free car parking and maintains a dedicated black taxi rank for guest convenience. The venue is located at Battersea Park, Queenstown Road, Chelsea Bridge, London SW11 4NJ, offering good accessibility for London events.

The venue has limited availability with many dates already booked. Specific dates mentioned as unavailable include October 5th and 12th, December 14th, and the venue is fully booked for a long tenancy event from July to September 19th. Friday and Saturday dates appear to have higher demand and limited availability.

During summer installation, the venue transforms into a full packaged experience featuring a festoon-lit stretch tent with central bar, lounge furniture on covered deck and main courtyard, capacity for up to 3,000 guests, space for BBQs and food stations, entertainment upgrade options, generous production install, and exclusive use of the entire 14,000m2 site.
