What is the room hire cost for the Dining space and what does it include?

The Dining room costs £600 plus VAT for exclusive hire. This includes use of the space, but additional costs apply for catering, beverages, and any extended access beyond standard hours. If earlier or later access is required, additional room hire and staff charges may apply.

What is the maximum capacity for seated dining events?

The Dining space has a maximum capacity of 80 guests for seated dining events. For groups larger than this, the venue may recommend alternative spaces within their portfolio of sister venues.

What catering options are available and what are the costs?

All catering is provided by Company of Cooks with prices exclusive of VAT. Plated breakfast options range from £7.50 (seasonal fruits) to £25.00 (Full English breakfast). Three-course dinners are available as part of packages starting from £134.50 plus VAT per guest for evening events. All catering includes staff, linen, cutlery, crockery and glassware.

Are there minimum guest requirements for bookings?

Yes, minimum guest numbers vary by package type. Day meetings require a minimum of 40 guests, while dinner packages typically require minimums of 35-60 guests depending on the specific offering. The venue may not accommodate very small groups due to minimum requirements.

What are the beverage costs and how are they charged?

Still and sparkling mineral water costs £4.75 plus VAT per 750ml bottle, charged on consumption. Fruit juices are £7.50 plus VAT per bottle, also charged on consumption. Wine packages are included in dinner packages (half bottle per person), while additional drinks can be arranged at extra cost.

Is security required for evening events and what does it cost?

Yes, security is mandatory for all evening events at Brewers' Hall. Security costs £150.00 plus VAT for up to 6 hours, with an additional hourly charge of £25 plus VAT for any hours beyond the initial 6-hour period.

What AV equipment is available in the Dining space?

The Dining space includes use of two plasma screens and microphones as standard. The venue can accommodate branding on screen for presentations, and additional AV requirements can be discussed during the booking process.

What are the standard event timings and access hours?

Standard event timings vary by event type. Day events typically run 08:00-13:00 or 09:00-17:00, while evening events usually run 18:00-23:00. If earlier or later access is required beyond these standard hours, additional room hire and staff charges will apply.

Are there restrictions on what types of events can be held in the Dining space?

The Dining room is suitable for events requiring catering service, as it's specifically designed for plated meals and dining experiences. Events requiring only pastries or light refreshments may be better suited to other spaces within the venue, as the Dining room is optimized for full catering service.

What is included in dinner packages and what are the upgrade options?

Dinner packages include exclusive hire, door security, self-service cloakroom, AV equipment, arrival drinks, three-course seasonal dinner, coffee and petit fours, half bottle of wine per person, and all staffing and tableware. Upgrade options include champagne reception (£12.00 plus VAT), pre-dinner canapes (£16.00 plus VAT), fish course (£14.00 plus VAT), and cheese course (£15.00 plus VAT).
