HISTORY 

Moorgate is a central London neighbourhood just north of the City of London. The name Moorgate derives from the medieval Moor Gate, one of the original gates in the city wall. The area has a long history dating back to Roman times, when it was known as Londinium. In more recent times, Moorgate has become known as a major financial district and home to many large businesses and banks.

The Main Hall in Salters' Hall is a stunning, ash panelled space, with double height, high vaulted ceilings for excellent acoustics. 

The Hall can be used for gala dinners, charity auctions, events with an orchestra and parties galore. With room to accommodate 125 for a banquet style dinner (E-shape) or 60-80 for a more spacious cabaret style evening, the Main Hall is a fantastic setting for glamorous evening entertaining.
