Events can be extended to 5pm at no additional cost if contracts are signed within the week of booking. The venue can accommodate events running until 11pm or midnight, with evening hire packages available from 6pm-11pm for corporate celebrations.
What capacity does OXO2 accommodate for standing receptions and seated events?
The venue can accommodate 100 guests for corporate events with standing reception format. For larger events, capacity extends to 400 guests for summer parties with mixed seating and standing arrangements.
What catering options are available and what are the minimum spends?
OXO2 offers bowl food reception packages, three-course sit-down dinners, canapés, and buffet options through their in-house catering team. There is a minimum food and beverage spend requirement in addition to venue hire fees, though specific amounts vary by event size and type.
What AV equipment is included in the venue hire?
The basic AV package includes 4 x 75" professional display screens, 12 x uplighters, 2 x handheld microphones, lectern, and high-quality PA system. Additional AV requirements can be arranged through their exclusive production partner Vibration Production.
What additional mandatory services are required for events?
All events require security, event management, staffing, and cleaning services as mandatory additions to the venue hire fee. These services are included in the full evening hire package but are additional costs for basic venue hire.
How far in advance do I need to book and what are the payment terms?
Dates are held for 7 days before becoming joint first option (first come, first serve). Deposit payments are required as per contract terms, with full payment possible in advance. Contracts are processed through DocuSign for convenience.
Can I bring my own entertainment and what restrictions apply?
The venue accommodates DJs, live music, photo booths, and 360 booths. Entertainment setup can include staging, dance floors, and additional screens for rolling content. All entertainment arrangements must be coordinated with the venue's production partner.
What is the booking process and who handles event management?
Initial proposals are valid for 14 days and can be customized based on requirements. The venue provides dedicated event managers throughout the planning process, with contracts novated to C&H (BWG) Limited (a Broadwick company) following recent ownership changes.
Are there any budget thresholds I should be aware of?
The venue cannot accommodate events with budgets below £7,500 + VAT. Most corporate celebrations require budgets of £10,000-£25,000+ depending on guest count, catering level, and entertainment requirements.
