What are the venue hire costs and minimum spend requirements for OXO2?
Friday evening hire starts from £5,000 + VAT, with evening hire at £11,000 + VAT. Additional costs include catering, production, and security on top of the venue hire fee. A minimum food and beverage spend applies in addition to the base hire cost.
What is the maximum capacity for events at OXO2?
The venue can accommodate up to 100 guests for conferences with full day packages including catering and AV. For standing receptions and parties, capacity may vary but quotes are typically provided for groups of 100-400 people depending on the event format.
What are the standard operating hours and can events run until 5pm?
Standard exclusive use runs from 08:00-18:00 for day events. Evening events can extend later, with some quotes showing events running until 23:59. Extensions to 5pm can be accommodated at no additional cost if contracts are signed promptly.
What AV equipment is included in the venue hire?
In-house AV includes 4 x 75" professional display screens, 12 x uplighters, 2 x handheld microphones, lectern, and high quality PA system. Additional AV requirements can be arranged through their exclusive production partner Vibration Production.
What catering packages are available and what do they include?
Full day packages include 3 servings of tea and coffee, 2 cold breakfast items, 2 mid-morning break bites, sandwich lunch with sides, 2 mid-afternoon break bites, and welcome drinks (prosecco/beer/wine/soft drinks). Bowl food reception packages are also available for evening events.
How far in advance must bookings be confirmed and what are the payment terms?
Dates are held for 7 days before becoming joint first option. Proposals are valid for 14 days. Deposit payments are required as per contract terms, with full payment possible in advance. Contracts are sent via DocuSign for electronic signing.
What additional mandatory services are required for events?
Security, event management, staffing, and cloakroom services are included in packages. Production services through their exclusive partner Vibration Production may be mandatory for certain events, with celebration packages available.
Where is OXO2 located and how do guests access the venue?
Located at Level Two, OXO Tower Wharf, Barge House Street, London SE1 9PH. Guests meet at the top of the long staircase on the West side of the OXO tower block (closest to London Eye/Waterloo). Nearest stations are Blackfriars and Waterloo.
Can external suppliers and vendors be used for events?
The venue has preferred suppliers including Vibration Production as their exclusive production partner. External vendors may require approval and completion of supplier forms. In-house catering team provides all food and beverage services.
What is the booking and contract process following the Broadwick acquisition?
Following Broadwick's acquisition of Camm & Hooper, contracts are now novated to C&H (BWG) Limited but all terms remain the same. All existing bookings are honored and the same team continues to operate the venue under Broadwick management.
