Perfect to host standing receptions for up to 120 guests, the space works beautifully for a variety of events to include networking drinks, a private occasion or a wedding party. The Luncheon Room interconnects with the Hall and the Parliament Chamber and is the ideal spot for dinner parties for up to 65 and is also a great catering or break out space for any event in the adjoining Parliament Chamber.

The Hall costs £1,960 ex VAT for 8am-4pm or £2,077.20 ex VAT for 6pm-11pm (includes 10% discount for evening hire). The Hall accommodates up to 276 for dining and is available Monday-Friday from 6pm onwards, plus weekends during day and evening. Rooms 3&4 combined cost £1,960 ex VAT for 8am-4pm with capacity for 62 theatre style or up to 35 for meetings.
What catering packages and pricing are available for events?
Dinner packages start from £142 ex VAT per person including Hall hire 6pm-11pm, prosecco on arrival, half bottle house wine, half bottle water, 3-course menu with coffee, and PA system with microphone. Individual catering items include arrival tea/coffee/pastries from £8.50 per person, classic sandwich lunch from £19.30 per person, and house wine from £5 per person ex VAT.
What are the availability restrictions and booking timelines?
The venue closes for August summer holidays and from 4-8 September annually. The 2026 Marquee Season runs 16 June - 9 July 2026 only. Popular dates book quickly and the venue operates on first and second option holds rather than confirmed bookings until deposit is received.
What wedding packages and dry hire options are available?
Dry hire of the entire venue with your own caterers costs £15,000 ex VAT, allowing use of all internal event spaces. The Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies and can accommodate up to 276 for wedding dining. Wedding brochures with different package options are available, and the venue is suitable for both ceremonies and receptions.
What AV equipment and technical facilities are included?
Built-in PA systems with microphones are included in most spaces. The Hall includes screen and video conferencing facilities. Rooms 3&4 have built-in AV with screen and video conferencing. The venue has adjustable lighting, air conditioning, free wifi, and is fully accessible including hearing loops.
What are the Christmas and festive event options and pricing?
Christmas events accommodate from small intimate dinners to receptions for up to 400 guests. Christmas lunch packages start from £85 ex VAT per person with Parliament Chamber room hire at £2,094 ex VAT. The venue offers traditional Christmas themes or can accommodate 1920s Prohibition style celebrations in the Parliament Chamber and Luncheon Room.
What outdoor space and marquee facilities are available?
The Marquee is available mid-June to mid-July only with capacity for up to 600 guests. Marquee packages for 400 guests cost £152.40 ex VAT per person including hire, garden menu, prosecco reception, 4-hour unlimited drinks package, and AV equipment. The venue has three acres of beautifully maintained grounds with garden views.
What are the minimum catering spends and additional mandatory costs?
The Lecture Theatre and Breakout area requires minimum catering spend of £2,640 ex VAT for evening events 6pm-10pm with room hire at £4,296 ex VAT. All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT at 20%. Some spaces have mandatory catering minimums that vary by room and time of hire.
What filming and photography restrictions apply?
Filming is usually restricted to weekends only but exceptions can be made depending on requirements. A filming request form must be completed and submitted. Photography and filming may take place during venue showcase events for marketing purposes, and attendance constitutes consent for image use across print, digital and social media channels.
What are the current promotional offers and booking incentives?
Room hire prices are frozen for 2026 events if booked by 31 August 2025, allowing booking at current rates. This offer has terms and conditions that apply. The venue also offers site visits and virtual tours to help with decision making before booking confirmation.
