Frequently asked questions

Semi-private bar areas require a £5,000 minimum food and beverage spend plus VAT with 7.5% service charge. The City & Billingsgate areas (up to 150 guests) require £10,000 plus VAT with 7.5% service charge. Individual semi-private spaces like The Arch (70 capacity) have a £2,500 minimum beverage spend plus VAT with 7.5% service charge. The private dining room requires £1,000 plus VAT with 12.5% service charge.

The private dining room accommodates up to 12 guests for seated meals. Semi-private bar areas can host up to 150 guests across multiple tables with a mixture of seated and standing space. Individual semi-private spaces like The Arch accommodate up to 70 guests, while City or Billingsgate areas each accommodate up to 60 guests.

For groups of 50 or more, a deposit of £10 per person is required, which can be redeemed against a pre-order or used as a bar tab. For the private dining room, the full minimum spend must be pre-paid and will be deducted from your final bill or refunded if the minimum is reached. Payment forms are sent separately via secure email.

For large groups: 14+ working days notice receives full refund, 7+ business days notice forfeits 50% of deposit, less than 7 business days forfeits 100% of deposit. For private dining: 30+ days receives full refund, within 30 days receives 50% refund, within 3 days forfeits entire deposit. Bookings can be moved to another date within the same calendar year free of charge with 2 weeks notice.

Semi-private spaces do not allow external DJs or catering - you must use venue-provided services only. The venue does not offer promoted ticketed events. External catering and entertainment policies vary by space type, with private areas having more restrictions than the main restaurant areas.

Guests under 18 are not permitted after 5pm Sunday to Friday. Saturdays operate a 21+ policy. Valid photo ID is required from all guests, and the venue operates a Challenge 25 policy. The right of admission is reserved at all times.

Final numbers and changes to pre-ordered beverages must be confirmed 48 hours prior to your reservation. This applies to all group bookings and private dining arrangements, regardless of the space booked.

The private dining room allows guests to dine from the a la carte menu. For larger groups, discounted drinks packages and bar snacks are available, or you can create bespoke bottle orders from the main bar menu. Pre-orders are recommended to start bookings, with the option to continue with individual bar orders once minimums are reached.

The private dining room includes an in-house sound system and flat-screen TV that guests can connect to via HDMI cable. Semi-private bar areas come with dedicated floor and bar staff, private bars, and access to island bars depending on the specific area booked.

For groups under 50, you can book areas in the bar with no minimum spend via their online booking system. For larger groups requiring semi-private or private spaces, different areas can accommodate varying capacities - from 12 in the private dining room up to 150 across multiple semi-private areas with terrace access.
