Semi-private bar areas require a minimum food and beverage spend of £5,000 plus VAT with 7.5% service charge added to the contract. For larger semi-private spaces like City & Billingsgate areas (up to 150 guests), the minimum spend is £10,000 plus VAT with 7.5% service charge.
What capacity limits apply to different areas?
Semi-private bar areas accommodate up to 60 guests standing, while the City & Billingsgate areas combined can host up to 150 guests. The Arch semi-private space has a capacity of 70 guests and requires a minimum beverage spend of £2,500 plus VAT with 7.5% service charge.
What deposit is required and how does it work?
For groups of 50 or more, a deposit of £10 per person is required to secure the booking. The deposit can be redeemed against a pre-order or used as a bar tab on the day of your event.
What are the cancellation terms and refund policy?
Cancellations require at least 14 working days' notice for a full refund. Cancellations with more than 7 business days' notice forfeit 50% of the deposit, while cancellations with less than 7 business days' notice forfeit 100% of the deposit.
What restrictions apply to external suppliers and entertainment?
Semi-private spaces do not allow external DJs or catering - you must use the venue's in-house services. The venue also does not offer promoted ticketed events, so all bookings must be private functions.
What age restrictions are enforced?
Guests under 18 are not permitted after 5pm Sunday to Friday. On Saturdays, the venue operates a 21 and over policy. Valid photo ID is required and the venue operates a challenge 25 policy with right of admission reserved.
How far in advance can changes be made to bookings?
Final numbers and changes to pre-ordered beverages are accepted up to 48 hours prior to the reservation. Payment is processed through a separate secure payment form sent after booking confirmation.
