What capacity limits apply to different areas?
Semi-private bar areas accommodate up to 60 guests standing, while the combined City & Billingsgate areas can host up to 150 guests. For groups of 50 or more, areas can be arranged across multiple tables with a mixture of seated and standing space.
What deposit is required and how does it work?
For groups of 50 or more, a deposit of £10 per person is required to secure the booking. The deposit can be redeemed against a pre-order or used as a bar tab on the day of your event.
What are the cancellation terms and refund policy?
Cancellations require at least 14 working days' notice for a full refund. Cancellations with more than 7 business days' notice forfeit 50% of the deposit, while cancellations with less than 7 business days' notice forfeit 100% of the deposit.
What restrictions apply to external suppliers and entertainment?
Semi-private spaces do not allow external DJs or catering - you must use the venue's in-house services. The venue also does not offer promoted ticketed events.
What age restrictions are in place?
Guests under 18 are not permitted after 5pm from Sunday to Friday. On Saturdays, the venue operates a 21 and over policy. Valid photo ID is required and the venue operates a challenge 25 policy.
How far in advance must final numbers and changes be confirmed?
Final numbers and changes to pre-ordered beverages must be confirmed up to 48 hours prior to the reservation date.

Semi-private areas include private access to the island bar, dedicated bartenders for your event, and semi-private access to the terrace. Some areas also include high tables and bar stools as standard.
How does the pre-order system work for drinks and food?
The venue recommends pre-ordering beverages and bar snacks to start your booking properly. You can select from discounted drinks packages or create a bespoke order of bottles from the main bar menu, with the pre-order counting towards your minimum spend.
