The Ruby private room (up to 65 guests) requires a minimum spend of £4,600-£5,200 including VAT plus 12.5% service charge, depending on timing. Evening hires typically cost more than daytime events. The minimum spend covers food, drinks, and mini golf across your entire event.

The Ruby private room accommodates up to 65 guests and includes a large plasma screen, microphone, and private bar. For larger groups, the restaurant area seats up to 75 guests, and you can combine spaces like the restaurant area with the Rose private room for up to 140-150 guests standing capacity.

Christmas packages are mandatory for private bookings and include globally inspired food served buffet-style in platters, a selection of drinks, and a game of mini golf. All guests must choose the same package unless they have dietary requirements. Any remaining balance from your minimum spend becomes a bar tab for additional drinks or food.

A 25% deposit of your minimum spend is required to secure the booking, along with a signed event contract. The remaining balance, drinks pre-orders, and dietary requirements must be provided at least 30 days before your event date. Some bookings require full non-refundable prepayment due to the 30-day cancellation policy.

Mini golf takes approximately 30 minutes per team of up to 6 guests, with teams teeing off a few minutes apart. For a group of 65 people, expect the entire mini golf portion to take around 1 hour. The game is included in all packages and typically scheduled 2 hours after arrival.

Private dining events typically run 5-6 hours, such as 17:00-23:00 or 12:00-16:00. The venue closes at 22:00 on Sundays and doesn't host DJs on Sundays. Saturday events may have higher minimum spends and DJs typically start earlier than 21:30.

The Ruby room includes a large plasma screen and microphone. The restaurant area has a big screen and projector. You'll need to bring your own HDMI cable for presentations. For full venue hires, a DJ booth is available, but DJs are not permitted on Sundays.

The kitchen opens at 12:00, so food packages are only available from noon onwards. Before 12:00, only unlimited teas, coffees (£4 per person), and cookies (£2 extra) are available. Fully vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free packages are available when requested in advance.

A 12.5% optional service charge is added to all bills. There are no additional mandatory fees mentioned beyond the minimum spend requirement, which already includes VAT. Any spending above your package value goes toward a bar tab for extra food and drinks.

Puttshack operates on a live booking system where availability is subject to change. For events requiring full prepayment, this must be completed at least 1 month before the event date. It's recommended to book well in advance, especially for December dates which appear to have higher minimum spends.
