The Ruby private room (up to 65 guests) requires a minimum spend of £4,600-£5,200 including VAT plus 12.5% service charge, depending on timing and date. The Rose room (up to 25 guests) has lower minimum spends. Semi-private areas start from £990 including VAT for smaller groups. All minimum spends cover food, drinks, and mini golf combined.
What capacity limits apply to different spaces and setups?
The Ruby private room accommodates up to 65 guests standing or 45 seated theatre-style. The Rose room holds up to 25 guests standing or 15 seated. The restaurant area seats up to 75 guests or 60 theatre-style. For presentations requiring 120+ people, you need multiple connected spaces in an L-shaped configuration across restaurant, Ruby, and Rose rooms.
What are the booking deposit and payment requirements?
A 25% deposit of the minimum spend is required to secure most bookings, with the balance due at least 30 days before the event date. However, some bookings within 30 days require full non-refundable prepayment due to the cancellation policy. Drinks pre-orders and dietary requirements are also due 30 days prior.
How does the mini golf component work for groups?
Groups are split into teams of up to 6 people, with each team teeing off a few minutes apart. It takes approximately 30 minutes per team to complete 9 holes. For larger groups, multiple courses can be used simultaneously - a group of 120 takes about 2 hours total, while 25 people need 35-40 minutes.
What AV equipment and presentation facilities are available?
The Ruby room includes a large plasma screen, the Rose room has a small TV, and the restaurant area offers a big screen with projector. Microphones are available upon request. You must bring your own HDMI cable for connections. All spaces can be configured for theatre-style presentations with screen access.
What are the operating hours and day-of-week restrictions?
The venue typically operates until 23:00 on weekdays and 00:00 on weekends, but closes at 22:00 on Sundays. DJs are not permitted on Sundays. Some evening slots may end earlier due to exclusive hires. Saturday bookings often require higher minimum spends than weekday events.
Are there mandatory Christmas packages during peak season?
Yes, during Christmas season you are required to book one of their Christmas packages, which include globally inspired food served buffet-style, drinks selection, and mini golf. Any remaining balance after the package cost can be used as a bar tab on the day. The same package must be chosen for all guests unless dietary requirements apply.
What food and beverage options are available?
You can choose from pre-set group packages (served buffet-style with drinks in ice buckets) or order from their bar menu. Food is served in waves 20-30 minutes after arrival. Fully vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free packages are available. For meetings, unlimited tea and coffee costs £4 per person, with cookies available for £2 extra.
What is the service charge policy?
A 12.5% service charge is added to all bills and is described as optional. This charge applies to the total bill including food, drinks, and activities, and is separate from the minimum spend requirement.
How far in advance should bookings be made?
The venue operates on a live booking system where availability is subject to change. For events requiring full prepayment (within 30 days), payment must be received by 18:00 on the day of booking confirmation. Site visits can be arranged to view the space before confirming.
