The Studio costs £1,525 + VAT for a 5-hour evening hire (6:30pm-11:30pm) including one bar staff member. Screen 3 costs £700 + VAT for a 2-hour daytime screening or £550 per hour for evening hire. The Streetside room has a day rate of £600 + VAT plus a £400 refundable damage deposit. All spaces have a 4-hour minimum hire requirement.

A technician is mandatory at £125-280 + VAT depending on the event. External catering incurs a 10% corkage fee if you bring your own suppliers. VAT is added to all hire costs and most services. Some events may require additional staffing beyond what's included in the base hire rate.

The Studio accommodates up to 100 guests in tiered seating with space for an additional 50 chairs in front. Screen 3 holds up to 59 guests and is wheelchair accessible with 2 designated spots. The Boardroom and Lab have a maximum capacity of 20 people each. Seated dining with catwalk space is limited to 100 guests maximum.

The building operates 9am-9pm, so events must end by then unless special arrangements are made. The Streetside room prohibits amplified music due to noise restrictions and is non-exclusive as it has stairs accessing escape rooms. Cinema screenings have a 2-hour minimum hire requirement, and timing can affect pricing.

Basic projection costs £75 + VAT, PA system with 4 mics costs £155 + VAT, and lighting is complimentary. All screen hires include digital projector and full technical support from in-house projection team. The venue does not have keyboards available for music events, and clients must provide their own filming equipment if needed.

Refreshment stations cost £3.50 + VAT per person per service (includes Caravan coffee, teas, and fruit-infused water). Drinks tokens are £5 + VAT per person covering beer, house wine, or soft drinks. Canapé receptions start from £13 per person. External caterers are allowed but incur a 10% corkage fee, and there is no usable kitchen available.

Rich Mix offers a 20% discount to registered charities, but you must provide a registered charity number to qualify. The venue does not allow discounts to be made through third-party booking platforms like Hire Space, which can affect final pricing for some bookings.

Initial quotes are provided after discussing requirements via phone or email. Site visits can be arranged to view spaces before booking. Dates are held provisionally during the quote process, but if there's no response by a specified deadline (typically given as a Friday date), the venue releases the booking and finds alternative clients.

The venue offers cabaret-style seating, theatre-style layouts, and tiered seating depending on the space. 6ft trestle tables with black linen cost £80 + VAT for 10 tables, suitable for exhibitor stands. The Studio includes staging capabilities and lighting rig, while spaces can be configured for dining layouts or presentation setups.

Events during major festivals (like their June festival) may have limited availability or require alternative dates. The venue is a registered charity, so all profits support local arts and education. Some spaces are non-exclusive due to building access requirements, and external decorations are generally allowed but should be confirmed for specific events.
