About this space
The Reading Room is an innovative hybrid of gallery, library and events space, designed to encourage visitors to indulge their curiosity and explore.
This is a public space showcasing a wide variety of objects from the Wellcome Collection. It includes a life mask of Beethoven, a1920s X-Ray machine made of wood, steel and rubber and a dress illustrating neural development. It has all the spectacles to make your event bespoke and memorable.
The Reading Room accommodates up to 160 guests and we can provide drinks and canapes for guests to enjoy while exploring the space.
