Named after the fashionable 19th century architect John Nash, who designed 116 Pall Mall in the 1820's. This bright and airy room is the grandest event space in the building and one of the most popular with clients. .

With a seating capacity up to 250 guests on round tables or 90 guests for long tables, the Nash Room is a stunning setting for any kind of event including parties, banquets, press launches, wine tastings, fashion shows and much more.

Frequently asked questions

Weekend events require an overall minimum spend of £15,000 to open the venue, as 116 Pall Mall only operates during weekdays normally. This minimum applies to all costs including venue hire, catering, and additional services.

Standard venue hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm on weekdays. Early access before 8:00am or late access after 5:00pm/11:00pm (depending on event type) incurs additional charges of £1,250 + VAT per hour. Events can be extended until 1:00am with these hourly charges.

A 50% deposit is required within 14 days of signing the contract. The contract must be signed to secure the booking, with cancellation terms applying immediately after signing. Payment can be made by BACS transfer, over the phone, or via payment link (AMEX not accepted via payment link but accepted via PDQ with 5% surcharge).

The Nash Room accommodates 350 standing, 184 cabaret style, or up to 250 seated on round tables. When combined with the Waterloo Room (140 standing), total capacity increases to 490 standing. Additional breakout rooms St James 1 (60 standing) and St James 2 (50 standing) are also available.

Dates can be held provisionally, but if another client shows interest, you'll be given a 48-hour deadline to make a decision. The venue requires contract signature as soon as possible to secure the space, as dates remain liable to sell until contracted.

External catering is strictly forbidden at the venue. All catering must be provided by Searcys, the in-house caterers. Set menus are required with one dish choice per course for the entire party, though dietary requirements are catered for separately. Table plans and name places must be provided on the event day.

The venue offers screens, projectors, microphones (including lapel and handheld options), and staging setups. AV quotes are provided separately based on specific requirements. Technical support and equipment setup are arranged through the venue's preferred suppliers.

All events include mandatory security and cloakroom services in package pricing. Christmas events include traditional theming and decorations. DJ and dancefloor services are available as add-ons. Service charges and VAT (20%) apply to all pricing.

Christmas packages range from £148 + VAT per person for reception packages (including champagne, canapés, bowl foods, 3-hour drinks, DJ, theming) to £186 + VAT for dinner packages (including 3-course meal, champagne, 3-hour drinks, DJ, theming). Minimum numbers typically apply (120 for most packages).

Final guest numbers and menu selections must be confirmed in advance of the event (specific timeframes vary by event size). Site visits can be arranged during the booking process, typically available between 10:00-17:00 on weekdays. Menu changes may be subject to seasonal availability.
