What are the capacity limits for the Dining space?

For seated dining with furniture, the maximum capacity is 80 guests when combining both available rooms. For standing events with just a bar and DJ, capacity can be pushed to 100 guests. Individual room capacities are 60 and 50 guests respectively.

What time slots are available for children's birthday parties?

Children's birthday parties can be held from 10:00-13:00 or 15:00-18:00. However, children's birthday parties are not conducted on Saturdays at any Hackney venues, and parties are not held at Hackney Town Hall.

How far in advance can I book and what is the provisional hold process?

You can place a provisional hold on dates, which lasts for 5 days for wedding ceremonies or 10 business days for other events. Payment links expire after 10 business days and bookings are released if not confirmed within this timeframe.

What is the booking and payment process?

After placing a provisional hold, you'll receive a contract to sign (pages 2 and 12). Once the signed contract is returned, a payment link is sent for full payment. For weddings, you must also confirm registrar availability before the contract is issued.

Are there restrictions on Saturday bookings?

Saturday availability is limited, with the latest ceremony-only slot at 1:00pm. Children's birthday parties are not conducted on Saturdays at any Hackney venues. Other Saturday bookings may have restricted availability depending on the date.

What drink options are available and can I extend my booking?

The venue offers exclusive drink reception add-ons and comprehensive bar services, though these are only available for select spaces. You can extend ceremony bookings with a glass of bubbles reception in their beautiful spaces.

What timing applies to wedding ceremonies?

Wedding ceremony bookings are 50 minutes total. Ceremonies start on the hour with 15 minutes beforehand for guest arrival and setup. A typical timeline is: 13:45 arrival, 14:00 ceremony starts, 14:20 ceremony ends, 14:25 confetti and photos outside, 14:35 venue clear.
