Am I allowed to play my own music in the pub?

If you have your own private room you will most likely be able to play your own music or have a DJ / band etc. If you have a semi-private area you may not be able to play your own music due to other customers also using the space.

How much does it cost to hire a room in a bar/pub?

It depends on the venue and the time of year and also whether you are wanting your own private room or semi-private. Some venues may only charge a small fee but some may charge more, its normally done on a minimum spend which you use on food and drink.

What time can I hire a room until at a pub/ bar?

You can hire a room in a pub or a bar for as long as you want. They venue will have to stick to their licensing hours of course and normally last orders will stop at least half an hour before the venue shuts.
