The Pen and Pencil has a chic and industrial design scheme and we are perfect for filming and photoshoots.

We have hosted a number of film and TV shoots here including Scott and Bailey (ITV) and The A Word (BBC).

We can host large film crews and offer a full range of drinks and food packages to look after your team on the day.

The Pen and Pencil is a bar/eatery sitting on the corner of Tariff and Hilton Street in Manchester's buzzing Northern Quarter.

At The Pen and Pencil, we have a space that lends itself to any occasion. Whether it's a birthday party, business meeting, presentation or hen do, we can help. Our private room can host 65 guests or for a bigger event we also offer the full venue which accommodates up to 200 guests (full venue hire available Sun-Thursday.)

We have a number of food and drinks packages available, and we also offer bespoke drinks packages to suit you and your event.
