This includes room hire 8am-5pm, arrival pastries, mid-morning refreshments, deli sandwich lunch, afternoon refreshments, screen and projector, Wi-Fi, flipchart, cloakroom, and directional signage.
What is the maximum capacity for seated meals?
The venue can accommodate a maximum of 60 people for seated meals. If your event requires more than 60 seated guests, you would need to consider alternative arrangements or reduce numbers.
What are the typical access times for events?
Standard event access is typically 8am-5pm for day events. Evening events can run until 11pm, with late license available until midnight for an additional £500 plus VAT.
Which rooms are recommended for different event types?
For workshops and meetings, the Laurie Landeau and Fellows rooms are recommended. For larger events, the Council Chamber and Reception room combination is suggested. For events requiring soundproofing or dancing, the Wolfson Conference Suite with Exhibition Area is available for an additional £700 plus VAT.
What catering upgrade options are available and at what cost?
Several upgrades are available: healthy working lunch for £5.50 plus VAT per person, bowl food (5 bowls per person) for £11.50 plus VAT per person, and fork buffet lunch for £15.00 plus VAT per person. All upgrades have minimum number requirements.
What entertainment and DJ options does the venue offer?
The venue can provide background music through their PA system or arrange silent disco options. If you want a DJ for dancing, you can hire the Wolfson Room and Exhibition Area for £700 plus VAT, with DJ services starting from £850 plus VAT.
