The John Newsom-Davis Suite is a beautifully restored Georgian space located in the heart of Marylebone, London. This versatile suite can accommodate up to 70 guests in a theatre-style layout, making it an ideal choice for a variety of events including conferences, meetings, and corporate seminars. The suite is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual technology and offers full catering services, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees. Frequently asked questions

Weekend events have a minimum spend of £4,000 per day. This applies to all Saturday and Sunday bookings regardless of event type or guest count.

The standard Day Delegate Package is £80 plus VAT per person, or £65 plus VAT per person on Mondays and Fridays, with a minimum of 30 guests. The package includes room hire 8am-5pm, arrival tea/coffee with pastries, mid-morning refreshments, deli sandwich lunch with sides, afternoon tea/coffee with fruit, screen and projector, Wi-Fi, flipchart, cloakroom, and directional signage.

The venue can accommodate up to 60 people for seated meals. For standing receptions, the capacity increases to 120 guests across the first floor spaces including the Council Chamber, Reception Room, and rooftop terrace.

DJ services start from £850 plus VAT. If you need dancing space with a DJ, you can hire the Wolfson Room and Exhibition Area for an additional £700 plus VAT. Late licensing to midnight costs £500 plus VAT.

Several upgrades are available: healthy working lunch upgrade costs £5.50 plus VAT per person, bowl food (5 bowls per person) costs £11.50 plus VAT per person, and fork buffet lunch costs £15.00 plus VAT per person. All upgrades have minimum number requirements.

Standard access times are 8am-5pm for day events. Evening events typically run 5pm-11pm, with late licensing available until midnight for an additional £500 plus VAT. Wedding receptions can access from 5pm-11pm as standard.

After receiving a bespoke proposal, you can request a provision hold on your preferred date. The venue provides venue brochures, sample menus, and tailored proposals for review. Site visits can be arranged to view the spaces before confirming your booking.

The venue allows external DJs and entertainment, though in-house options are available. For dancing, you can use the Reception Room with background music through the PA system, opt for a silent disco, or hire additional space with a DJ for £700 plus VAT extra.

Standard AV includes screen and projector, Wi-Fi, flipchart, PA system, handheld microphones, and iPad with Spotify. Room dimensions are available upon request from the events team, particularly important for events requiring specific setup configurations or product displays.
