Ideal for private meetings, conferences, presentations and private dinners with the exclusivity of the First Floor of a townhouse. The Council chamber is the most popular space for hybrid events with equipment available to hire, conferences, presentations, training days and press conferences.



Frequently asked questions

Weekend events have a minimum spend of £4,000 per day. This applies to all Saturday and Sunday bookings regardless of the space or event type.

The Classic Full Day Delegate Package costs £80 plus VAT per person (or £65 plus VAT on Mondays and Fridays) with a minimum of 30 guests. This includes room hire 8am-5pm, arrival tea/coffee with mini pastries, mid-morning refreshments, deli sandwich lunch with fruit/salad and crisps, afternoon tea/coffee with fruit skewers, screen and projector, Wi-Fi, flipchart, cloakroom, and directional signage.

The venue can accommodate up to 60 people for seated meals. For larger groups requiring seated dining, the venue cannot accommodate more than this number.

Standard business events typically run from 8am-5pm. Extended hours are available with additional costs - late license to midnight costs £500 plus VAT.

Standard delegate packages include screen, projector, Wi-Fi, flipchart, and handheld microphones. The venue can provide room dimensions and technical specifications upon request for events requiring specific setup requirements.

Upgrade options include healthy working lunch (option 2) for £5.50 plus VAT per person, bowl food (5 bowls per person) for £11.50 plus VAT per person, and fork buffet lunch for £15.00 plus VAT per person. All upgrades have minimum number requirements.

After initial enquiry, the venue provides a venue brochure, sample event menu, and bespoke proposal. Clients can request a provision hold on their preferred date and book site visits to view the spaces.

The venue works with Searcys for catering and can accommodate bespoke proposals. Specific vendor requirements and restrictions are discussed on a case-by-case basis during the proposal stage.

If the venue cannot accommodate an enquiry due to capacity, budget constraints, or availability, they will help find alternative venues for the client rather than simply declining the booking.
