The Reception Only Wedding Package costs £171 including VAT per person (minimum 30 guests) and includes first floor venue hire from 5pm-11pm, arrival nibbles, prosecco, 5 canapés, 3 bowl foods, 2-hour unlimited house wine/beer/soft drinks, bar setup, uplighters, PA system, microphones, iPad with Spotify, reception team, security and unmanned cloakroom. Total cost for 30 guests is £5,130 including VAT.

Can I hire additional spaces for dancing and entertainment?

Yes, you can add the Wolfson Room and Exhibition Area for dancing at an extra cost of £700 plus VAT. The Reception Room can accommodate a dancefloor with background music through the PA system, or you can opt for a silent disco as an alternative.

What are the standard access times for wedding receptions?

Standard wedding reception access is from 5pm to 11pm. If you need to extend beyond 11pm, a late license to midnight costs an additional £500 plus VAT.

Can I bring my own DJ and what are the costs?

Yes, you can bring your own DJ, particularly if you hire the Wolfson Room and Exhibition Area for dancing. Alternatively, the venue can provide a DJ with prices starting from £850 plus VAT.

What spaces are recommended for wedding ceremonies and receptions?

The Laurie Landeau Room can hold 30 guests for an intimate wedding ceremony or wedding breakfast. For larger receptions, the Council Chamber and Reception Room are typically recommended, with the option to add the rooftop terrace for outdoor elements.

How do I secure my wedding date and what is the booking process?

You can place a provision hold on your preferred date while you make your decision. The venue provides bespoke proposals, venue brochures, and sample menus, and offers site visits to view the spaces before booking.

Are there any restrictions on external suppliers for weddings?

The venue works with Searcys for catering and has established partnerships, but specific policies on external caterers and suppliers would need to be confirmed directly with the venue team during the planning process.

What audio-visual equipment is included for wedding ceremonies?

The wedding package includes uplighters, PA system, handheld microphones, and an iPad with Spotify access. Additional AV requirements such as screens or projectors may be available but would need to be specified in your requirements.
