Situated on the first floor of the venue, The Lounge Bar is the perfect space to hold your wedding day.

Set for your serene wedding ceremony with the orange glow of candles around the room as you walk down the aisle. Once you are all signed and married, you and your guests will move up to the heated and covered roof terrace for drinks and canapes while we reset the room ready for your three course Wedding Breakfast.

After your first meal as a married couple you can have a cocktail hour while our in house DJ gets set up ready for your first dance as a married couple.

The first floor Lounge Bar accommodates up to 100 seated guests for wedding breakfast or 150 standing guests for drinks reception. There is no room hire fee, but you must meet a minimum spend of £2,500 on food and beverage plus 12.5% service charge. A £250 deposit is required to secure the booking, which is redeemed against your final bill.

No, external catering is not permitted at The Railway. All food and drink must be purchased through the venue, and you will have no access to a kitchen. The venue provides seasonal menus for your wedding breakfast and canapés.

Wedding bookings include the first floor Lounge Bar with capacity for ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening reception. You also get private access to the heated and covered roof terrace for drinks and canapés between ceremony and dinner. The venue can reset the room between ceremony and wedding breakfast while guests enjoy the roof terrace.

The space includes 4 HD TV screens with Bluetooth connectivity, access points for your own DJ, a disco ball and lights, plus a dedicated dance floor area. The venue has an in-house DJ available and can accommodate your first dance setup after the wedding breakfast.

The venue does not currently have a lift facility. The wedding space is located on the first floor, so guests will need to use stairs to access the ceremony and reception areas.

The Railway is available for exclusive first floor hire Monday through Sunday. Wedding ceremonies and receptions can be held any day of the week.

The wedding package includes a private bar on the same floor, private toilets, access to 4 HD TV screens, disco ball and lighting, and exclusive use of the heated roof terrace. A cloakroom is available for an additional charge.

Contact the venue as soon as possible to check availability for your preferred date. A £250 deposit secures your booking and is either redeemed against your final bill or refunded to your card. The minimum spend of £2,500 plus 12.5% service charge is the main cost structure.
