What are the minimum spend requirements for different dining areas and time slots?

The Captain's Table (private room for up to 25 guests) requires £1,000-£1,600 minimum spend depending on time slot. Roped off areas for up to 30 guests require £600-£900 minimum spend. The Rockefeller Lounge semi-private area (up to 130 guests) requires £3,500-£6,750 minimum spend. All minimum spends include food, beverage, and 12.5% service charge inclusive of VAT.

How far in advance must food orders be placed and paid for?

All group food orders must be placed or amended up to 5 working days in advance of your event. Full prepayment of the food order is required 1 week in advance of the event. Orders are placed through their online ordering system and individual ordering is not permitted for group events.

What deposit is required to secure a booking and when must it be paid?

A 20% deposit is required to secure all bookings. The deposit is paid via an online link sent to your email address and must be paid within 48 hours of receiving the link. The venue does not hold areas without a deposit.

Are there age restrictions for dining events?

The venue operates as an 18+ venue after 6pm. Events with under-18 guests must be scheduled before 6pm or alternative arrangements discussed.

What are the available time slots for private dining events?

Time slots vary by area and date. Examples include 1-4:30pm, 6:30-11pm, 4-11pm, and 7-11pm slots. Earlier daytime slots (12-5pm) are sometimes available. Specific availability depends on the chosen area and date.

Can individual guests order separately or must everything be pre-ordered?

For large group events, individual ordering is not permitted as there is no way to track minimum spend requirements. All orders are placed on one accumulative tab which can be split at the end if needed. Groups can choose between pre-ordered set menus or reduced a la carte menus.

What dining options are available for private events?

Options include group pre-order menus, reduced a la carte menus for individual ordering, and canape & sharers menus laid out across tables. For groups of 50 or more, you must select one dish per course for the whole group with individual dietary requirements catered for separately.

What are the capacity limits for different dining areas?

The Captain's Table accommodates up to 25 guests seated. Roped off areas accommodate up to 30 guests standing. The Rockefeller Lounge semi-private area accommodates up to 130 guests standing or up to 50-80 guests seated depending on configuration. Maximum dining capacity for exclusive hire is 110 guests.

Is the Captain's Table completely private and soundproof?

The Captain's Table is a private room sectioned off from the rest of the venue with floor-to-ceiling windows and Thames views. However, it is not completely insulated from sound outside the room, so some ambient noise from the main restaurant may be audible.

What wedding packages are available and what do they include?

Wedding packages start at £145 per person and include arrival Prosecco, wine for the table, and a glass of Prosecco for the toast. Exclusive venue hire is available on Saturdays from September-April and any Sunday throughout the year with a £25,000 minimum spend. Any additional drinks beyond the package incur extra costs.
