Minimum spend varies by date and timing. For example, a 6pm-12am hire on 30th November requires £4,500 including VAT plus 12.5% service charge. The venue quotes minimum spends ranging from £4,500 to £13,000 depending on your specific date and requirements.

The venue offers both the Balcony Room and Underglobe for weddings. The Underglobe is specifically licensed for ceremonies and features a private mezzanine, sweeping staircase, stage, dance floor, high-spec sound and lighting system, and a full-sized model oak tree. Both spaces can accommodate receptions.

The Balcony Room accommodates up to 70 people for seated dining or up to 120 standing guests. The Underglobe can accommodate up to 360 people for dining events. Children are allowed in the Balcony Room.

All bookings include a mandatory 12.5% service charge on top of the minimum spend. Some larger events may also include a room hire and planning fee of £2,000. All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

To secure your booking, you need to pay a 50% deposit along with signed Terms and Conditions. The venue prefers to arrange a phone call first to discuss your celebration details before providing a formal proposal and quote.

Executive Chef Cedric Tourainne and his team create menus specifically for private dining spaces. Menus are inspired by seasonal British produce and change four times a year, sourced from London suppliers including Borough Market. The venue offers buffet options and seated dining with sample menus provided upon request.

The venue has a 1AM licence, allowing events to run until late. Wedding receptions typically run from evening hours (6pm-7pm start) until midnight or 1am. The venue can accommodate both daytime and evening celebrations.

The Underglobe features high-spec sound and lighting systems, built-in stage, projector, and surround sound. The venue welcomes bands and DJs, and has an AV technician available. Additional entertainment can be arranged through the events team.

Located at Shakespeare's Globe by the River Thames, the venue offers spectacular riverside views including St Paul's Cathedral. The Balcony Room has floor-to-ceiling French windows opening onto a private balcony, while the Underglobe features theatrical elements like a full-sized oak tree model and dramatic architecture perfect for romantic celebrations.
