Space description

Blakesley Hall is the perfect setting for your special day. Walk beneath the wisteria clad porch entrance into the house, through the original door and back in time into the Great Hall. The Hall is finely furnished in the 17th century style and provides a wonderful, atmospheric setting for the ceremony. The happy couple will sign the register on the 'long table', a surviving item listed on the 1684 Blakesley Hall inventory.

More about Blakesley Hall

Located some six miles east of the city centre, Blakesley Hall (Grade II* listed) is a delightfully restored timber-framed Elizabethan house set amidst idyllic grounds and with fine period interiors. Built in 1590 for Richard Smallbroke, Blakesley Hall provides a marvellous insight into the social aspirations of the Tudor middle-classes. The delightful grounds are a sight to behold throughout the seasons. With formal lawns, a traditional herb garden, an orchard and herbaceous borders, the site offers excellent opportunity for photographs. Modern gallery, barn & Great Hall available for hire.
