Chic, versatile event space for up to 300 guests, ideal for corporate and private events.

Each Studio space is an ideal setting for corporate and private events.

With a total of 6 Studio spaces available, inter-connecting walls can be removed to open the space into one larger room, accommodating up to 100pax for a standing reception between three Studios, or up to 300pax when combining all six Studio spaces with the ME Room.

Our Studio space comes complete with all furniture, linen and table centrepieces, as well as elegant uplighting and built in speakers for background music.

A stylish lounge and bar with a central robata grill, ideal for drinks receptions and corporate events.

ROKA Aldwych's interior is in collaboration between Rainer Becker and acclaimed Italian designer, Claudio Silvestrin. Textural highlights such as porphyry stone, naturally tanned leathers, stained grey timber create a dynamic yet relaxing atmosphere that embraces the symbolic heart of ROKA – its central robata grill. The bar and Lounge space work perfectly for drinks receptions as well as corporate events.

ROKA Aldwych

Modern, adaptable event space in a historic arts centre. Suitable for large receptions and dinners.

In the Embankment Galleries, the whole venue can hold 800 for a standing reception. Our Mezzanine level can seat up to 340 for a dinner on rounds or 192 on a long table, and our East and West Galleries can hold around 300 standing in each space. 

Originally a barrel-vaulted bargehouse linked directly to the River Thames, the Embankment Galleries are now our most modern and adaptable events space. Spread over the ground floor and Mezzanine level of the South Wing, this network of rooms host annual exhibitions but as of September 2017 - February 2018 it is also available for private events.

Host large conferencing with a capacity of 1150 (582 with Covid-safe social distancing in place.) or hire the Aldwych for smaller meetings, workshops and corporate training events. An intimate, historic room for private dining in a serene setting near the River Thames.

Seating up to 22 guests, the light and airy Queen's room offers a more intimate setting for a private dining event. Called the Queen's Room after HRH The Queen Mother, it is decorated with paintings associated with her appointment as Royal Bencher of the Inn in 1944.
