What are the exact room hire costs for business meetings and how long can I book the space?
Room hire for Rooms 3&4 (combined) costs £1,960 ex VAT for an 8-hour period (8am-4pm). The space accommodates up to 62 people in theatre style and includes built-in AV with screen and video conferencing facilities. Catering is served in the shared breakout space on the same floor with access to a viewing balcony.
What catering packages are available and what are the per-person costs?
Catering options include arrival tea, coffee and pastries from £8.50 ex VAT per person, classic sandwich lunch from £19.30 ex VAT per person, one glass of house wine with lunch from £5 ex VAT per person, and mid-afternoon tea, coffee and biscuits from £7.15 ex VAT per person. All catering is served in the shared breakout space on the 4th floor.
What AV equipment is included and are there additional charges?
Built-in AV equipment including screen and video conferencing facilities is included with the room hire at no additional cost. The space also features a discreet PA system and complimentary Wi-Fi for presentations.
What is the maximum capacity for different seating arrangements?
Rooms 3&4 combined can accommodate up to 62 people in theatre style. The space is contemporary with plenty of natural daylight and is fully accessible including hearing loop facilities.
How does the booking process work and do you hold dates provisionally?
The venue does not automatically hold dates provisionally when providing quotes. If you want to place a date on provisional hold, you must specifically request this and they will contact any existing client holding first option for an update before holding the space on second option for your event.
What are the venue's operating hours and availability restrictions?
The venue closes during August summer holidays and is also closed from 4th September until 8th September for holidays, reopening for events from 8th September. Site visits can be arranged over a couple of weeks' notice.
Are there any special pricing offers or discounts available?
The venue offers a room hire price freeze for 2026 events, allowing you to book 2026 events at current 2025 rates. This offer ends 31st August 2025 and terms and conditions apply.
What information do I need to provide to receive a detailed quote?
To receive a full proposal, you need to provide start/end time, event type, seating style preference, catering requirements, AV requirements, and your budget. The venue can then check availability and prepare a comprehensive quote based on your specific needs.
