You probably already know The KIA Oval as the home of Surrey County Cricket Club. But you might not know that it’s also one of the most versatile and experienced event venues we know, hosting over 2,000 events each year – from summer parties to conferences, awards ceremonies to team building events and so, so much more. After all, with excellent transport links, outdoor space, wonderful views and top-notch conference facilities, what’s not to like?!
Shiny and new
Even though The KIA Oval is now in its 175th year, it's constantly growing and has remained forward-thinking. In fact, it has a brand new stand that's dedicated to events!
The new 175 Suite, which can hold 750 guests, boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto the pitch, a viewing platform and a private terrace – perfect for treating your guests to a tipple! Meanwhile, the Duchy Suite is a double-height conference and dinner space that holds up to 600 theatre-style and is sure to impress your guests with its six-metre-high ceilings and huge windows. Ultimately, if you want state-of-the art facilities in a history-making setting, you can't get much better than this.
A real all-rounder
The KIA Oval is one of those lucky venues that really does have it all. And we're not just talking about the swanky spaces in the venue's new stand.
If you're hosting a conference, you'll love the Jardine Suite – a large blank canvas space with a unique industrial feel. The India Room is a more intimate space perfect for private dining, smaller conferences, workshops and meetings. Or if you want to party into the early hours – perhaps with a gala dinner or corporate Christmas party – the England Suite is easily adaptable and has a capacity of 700.
Views, views, views
There’s sure to be a number of cricket fans on any guestlist, so why not go all-out and treat them to an event at one of the most famous cricket grounds in the world?
Nearly all of the event spaces you'll find at The KIA Oval have one thing in common – one-of-a-kind views over the world-famous pitch. But when it comes to vistas, the Corinthian Roof Terrace is unparalleled. With views over the Oval wicket on one side and the striking London skyline on the other, it’s sure to wow any guest.
Summer party ready
Talking of roof terraces, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that The KIA Oval is the perfect spot for your next summer party, large or small. The Corinthian Roof Terrace holds 650 people and comes complete with a choice of party packages – including delicious two-course street food menus, an indoor after-party area and even tickets to a cricket match for your guests. This sophisticated and adaptable outdoor space is exactly where we fancy dancing the night away!
For a more intimate vibe, we love the India Room. It has a lovely private terrace, two bars (one indoors and one outdoors) and room for 200 guests. And of course, both the 175 Suite and the Duchy Suite have private terraces too if you want an all-weather space to host a big bash. With indoor and outdoor space rolled up in one, these spaces are certain to cope with whatever the British weather throws your way!
Easy access
We know, we know, The KIA Oval is looking very tempting already. And we haven’t even drawn your attention to the amazing transport links yet!
Well, guess what? The KIA Oval could not be better located. It’s just a four-minute walk from Vauxhall station, making it super easy for your guests to reach wherever they’re coming from. Plus, it even has free parking for your guests – almost unheard of this close to the centre of London!
Oh-so-experienced
Last (but certainly not least!), The KIA Oval is an insanely experienced venue when it comes to events. It’s been home to Surrey County Cricket Club since 1845! Not only has it been continuously expanding over that time, but it actually hosts a whopping 2,000 events each year, so there’s no doubt the team knows what they’re doing!
