The Octagon can accommodate ceremonies and receptions for up to 240 guests. The stunning venue was built in 1888 and was originally the Queen Mary library, designed by Victorian architect ER Robson and inspired by the Reading Room at the British Museum. The domed ceiling reaches an impressive three storeys high and busts of famous literati compliment the dome including Shakespeare, Wordsworth and Chaucer to name a few.

The opulent Octagon is a spectacular former library featuring triple height book lined shelves underneath a domed ceiling with eminent authors looking down on proceedings.

Grade II listed and with a 450 sq.m floor - the venue is versatile - offering a spectacular backdrop for networking, fine dining, drinks receptions, exhibitions with additional space available for breakouts and registration.
