Entertain your guests with the 1903 Harle Syke Mill engine which can be operational to bring the gallery to life. Space is an atmospheric gallery, telling the fascinating story of space exploration. This out-of-this-world gallery is available for evening hire and daytime hire part of a full museum closure. Perfect for product launches, Christmas parties, drinks receptions for up to 300 people. Your guests can marvel at a full-sized replica of the 'Eagle', the lander that took astronauts Armstrong and Aldrin to the moon in 1969 and discover how they could live in space with displays of astronauts' food and drink.

Among the original features is an open-plan courtyard area which can be enjoyed in conjunction with daytime hire of the Salon. From small meeting rooms for up to 20 guests, to the ample-sized salon accommodating 200 guests for a drinks reception, the Smith Centre provides versatility throughout. It is perfect for daytime events such as team away days, conferences and boardroom meetings, where breakout spaces may be required.
