Newly refurbished, The Lounge is a premium space just off the main room with a balcony view into The Box and sound-insulated windows overlooking 103. It features a private bar, modular booth seating, and customisable lighting. The space can be curtained off for added privacy, ideal for conferences, meetings, and corporate events that want a high-energy setting with space to focus.

Frequently asked questions

Film shoots are charged at £5,500 for 12 hours or £8,500 for 24 hours, plus £600 per additional hour. For July and August 2025, venue hire fees are waived with a guaranteed minimum bar spend requirement. Security costs are mandatory and added to all bookings, with rates discussed based on event requirements.

Ministry of Sound runs club nights on Fridays and Saturdays and is not available for private hire on these days. All other days of the week are available for corporate events and private bookings.

The corporate events team handles private hire, corporate events, conferences, and film shoots. They do not handle club events, ticketed public events, or music events - these must be booked directly through the club team via the Ministry of Sound website.

Security is mandatory for all events and must be added to booking costs. The venue provides SIA-trained security staff, with rates and minimum hours discussed based on specific event requirements and duration.

The venue can accommodate up to 1,550 guests across 6 interconnected spaces totaling 900 square metres. The Lounge features modular booth seating with balcony views into The Box, and can be curtained off for privacy when needed.

The venue offers in-house catering or allows external catering teams. The Lounge has a private bar, and various packages are available including unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks. For summer 2025, complimentary venue hire is offered with guaranteed minimum bar spend requirements.

The venue provides world-class sound and lighting systems with in-house AV capabilities. Technical support includes venue technicians, and the space features customizable lighting. Additional AV equipment like microphones can be hired separately.

Site visits can be arranged to view the space before booking. The venue requires proposals to be reviewed and confirmed, with specific payment terms and deposit requirements discussed per event. Early booking is recommended, especially for December dates which sell out by summer.

The venue provides event managers, bartenders, security staff, cloakroom attendants, cleaners, and technical support. Post-event cleaning is included, and the venue can arrange additional services like furniture hire and equipment as needed.

For July and August 2025, the venue offers complimentary hire fees with guaranteed minimum bar spend requirements. Christmas bookings for 2025 are already being taken, with updated spaces and packages available, and early booking is essential as December dates sell out quickly.
