Room hire ranges from £1,050 + VAT for half-day (8:30am-12pm or 1pm-5pm) to £1,350 + VAT for full day (8:30am-5pm). There is no specific minimum catering spend mentioned for the Tavern Room, unlike other RSA House spaces which typically require £600-£1,100 + VAT minimum spend.

RSA House does not offer dry hire and prohibits external catering - all food must be provided by their in-house team. Catering options include 3-course meals (£65 + VAT per person), fork buffets (£45 + VAT per person), and various reception packages with canapés and drinks.

The Tavern Room includes a built-in TV screen and sound bar. Additional AV equipment includes handheld/lapel microphones from £75 + VAT each, TV screens from £200 + VAT each, and flipcharts from £15 + VAT each, all subject to availability.

RSA House will hold dates for up to two weeks while you decide on the venue. If they need a decision sooner, they provide 48 hours notice to either confirm with a signed contract or release the date.

RSA House requires detailed information about your organization's purpose, mission, values, and event content. Events must align with RSA's vision, mission, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments. They ask about speakers, themes, political figures, controversial attendees, and how the event will be promoted.

Drinks options include sparkling wine reception (£18 + VAT per person), two-hour unlimited drinks packages with house wine, bottled beers and soft drinks (£30.50 + VAT per person), and half bottles of house wine with meals. Cocktails are available from £12 + VAT per cocktail.

Standard events typically run from 8:30am-5pm during weekdays. RSA House is normally closed over weekends, requiring approximately £12,000 + VAT to open the house for weekend events. Evening events can extend later with additional charges.

Additional services include wireless uplighters (£25 + VAT each, maximum 16 subject to availability), flipcharts with pens (£15 + VAT each), and various AV equipment. All additional equipment is subject to availability and additional charges.

The space originally housed the Adelphi Tavern, featured in Charles Dickens' 'The Pickwick Papers'.
